XMD ToolBox Hacks: Episode 01

Launch the XMD ToolBox from ZBrush

Did you know that, a few years ago, Pixologic added a game-changing feature to the XMD ToolBox: the XMD Button in ZBrush. Launch the XMD ToolBox effortlessly by typing "/" in ZBrush. If you already have the ToolBox installed, it will bring it to the front. If not, it will direct you to xmdsource.com for a quick download.

Hotkeys

Did you know that the ToolBox has hotkeys? These useful keys are guaranteed to speed up your workflow!

For Windows:

• Ctrl+B: Toggle between Asset panels

• Ctrl+W: Cycle to the next favorite set

• Ctrl+M: Toggle mini mode

• Ctrl+R: Reset all brushes in ZBrush

• Ctrl+F: Set focus on search box

• Ctrl+T: Toggle favorite

• Ctrl+Y: Clear all filters

For Macintosh:

• cmd+B: Toggle between Asset panels

Middle Mouse Click

Click on any asset in the ToolBox, then middle mouse click it to open an explorer window with the location of the asset.
